Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial records.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions, including issuing invoices and tracking payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Perform bank deposits and prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
- Assist with payroll processing and tax form preparation as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
