Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax preparation and filings.
- Monitor financial systems and processes to ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve cash flow management and budget forecasting.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and basic tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
