Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports, balance sheets, and profit & loss statements.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical financial records.
- Process payroll entries and assist with tax document preparation.
- Perform general data entry and filing of financial documentation.
- Assist the senior accounting team with special projects and audits.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic math and analytical aptitude with a logical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients and team members.
- Willingness to obtain QuickBooks certification (training provided).
