Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping operations and accounts management.
- Process and verify invoices for accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintain organized digital and physical financial records.
- Assist the senior accountant with monthly financial reporting and payroll preparation.
- Perform basic data entry and spreadsheet management using Microsoft Excel.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong computer literacy, specifically with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in number crunching.
- Great organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to learn new accounting software (training provided).
