Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate daily financial records, including ledgers and journals.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Support the payroll process by collecting and verifying time sheets.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for tax documents.
- Communicate with vendors and clients regarding billing inquiries.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping terminology.
