Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping tasks including accounts payable/receivable processing
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- Assist with payroll data entry and tax form preparation
- Maintain organized digital financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare financial reports for client review
- Support month-end closing procedures
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding financial queries
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry)
- Strong attention to detail with numerical accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial data
- Willingness to complete company-provided QuickBooks certification
- Reliable transportation to our Houston office
