Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and monthly closing processes.
- Maintain and update the general ledger using accounting software.
- Process payroll entries and assist with payroll tax filings.
- Organize and file financial documents and invoices.
- Assist the senior accounting team with ad-hoc financial analysis tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
