Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests for accuracy and compliance
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all AP documentation
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting tasks
- Communicate professionally with vendors to resolve payment inquiries and disputes
- Support the implementation of new accounting software and process improvements
- Adhere to internal controls and financial regulations (SOX compliance)
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- 1-2 years of accounts payable or administrative finance experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and ERP systems (SAP/Oracle experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and GAAP
