Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, coding, and approvals.
- Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve billing discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist with month-end close processes and prepare financial reports.
- Maintain organized digital and physical files for all accounts payable records.
- Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Perform data entry and maintain spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting is a plus.
- Familiarity with basic accounting software and MS Office Suite (Excel preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors quickly.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (optional for hybrid roles).
