Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of monthly and annual financial statements and reports.
- Perform daily reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the finance team with budget preparation, variance analysis, and data entry.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and company policies.
- Assist in the annual audit process by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience, including internships (recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced functions in Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
