As an Entry Level Accountant, you will support the accounting department in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain basic financial reports, including balance sheets and profit and loss statements.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions and invoices.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and filing requirements.
- Organize and maintain financial files, records, and archives.
- Perform general clerical and administrative accounting support duties.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships count).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify discrepancies.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
