Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions and ensure timely processing.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain basic financial reports, spreadsheets, and ledgers using Excel and accounting software.
- Support the external audit process by gathering and organizing documentation.
- Process payroll data and review employee expense reports.
- Assist with tax preparation filings under the guidance of senior staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or currently pursuing CPA certification).
- 1-2 years of relevant internship experience or academic coursework in accounting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Index/Match) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and basic bookkeeping practices.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
