Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Perform complex account reconciliations and variance analysis to ensure financial integrity and reporting accuracy.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and provide financial forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal tax regulations and filing requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting or financial reporting.
- Proven proficiency in financial software (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and financial regulatory standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present insights clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
