Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain accurate transaction records
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation for clients
- Conduct internal audits to ensure financial controls are effectively implemented
- Collaborate with senior accountants on special financial projects
- Utilize QuickBooks and Excel for data analysis and reporting
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's preferred)
- 2+ years of hands-on accounting experience in a professional setting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Professional certification (CPA or CMA) a plus
