Responsibilities
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows) for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and maintain accurate general ledgers
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial insights to senior management
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations for all financial documentation
- Collaborate with tax professionals during quarterly and annual reporting cycles
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial records and audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with proficiency in QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, complex formulas)
- Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
