Responsibilities
- Oversee the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare complex financial statements and manage variance analysis.
- Perform account reconciliations and internal audits to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with tax preparation and the coordination of external audits.
- Provide financial reporting support to senior management and stakeholders.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- CPA certification is a plus, but relevant experience is required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.
