Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and the reconciliation of general ledger accounts.
- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Maintain and organize financial records, documents, and electronic files.
- Prepare basic financial reports and assist with the year-end closing process.
- Support the tax preparation team by gathering necessary documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of relevant experience or internship in an accounting or finance role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
