Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounts payable and accounts receivable operations.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions monthly.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and maintain basic financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Organize and file financial documentation and invoices.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with tax preparations and audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or currently pursuing a CPA track).
- 0-2 years of experience in accounting or a recent graduate with relevant internship experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
