Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage general ledger activities.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and implement controls to mitigate financial risk.
- Collaborate with the finance manager to prepare budgets and forecasts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or NetSuite) and MS Excel (advanced functions).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
