Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, ensure accurate data entry, and manage vendor communications.
- Bank Reconciliation: Review bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and ad-hoc reports for management.
- Record Keeping: Maintain organized, up-to-date digital and physical filing systems for all financial documents.
- Audit Support: Assist the accounting team during internal and external audits by gathering necessary documentation.
- Expense Tracking: Monitor and categorize employee expenses to ensure proper reimbursement and reporting.
- Assist with Payroll: Help ensure payroll data is processed correctly and on time.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience: No prior accounting experience required. We are looking for eager learners.
- Software Proficiency: Basic computer skills with a willingness to learn industry-standard accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage).
- Attention to Detail: A strong ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high data accuracy.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
