Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions accurately.
- Prepare and maintain financial records and ledgers.
- Process invoices and ensure all documentation is compliant with company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to input and verify data.
- Support the senior accounting team with various ad-hoc financial projects.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional accounting experience is necessary; we will train the right candidate.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
