Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
- Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for financial documents and records.
- Collaborate with the senior accounting team to audit financial data and improve internal processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a CPA track).
- Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) or strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of US tax regulations and GAAP principles.
