Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of daily General Ledger entries.
- Perform Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciling bank statements.
- Prepare and organize supporting documentation for audits and financial reviews.
- Reconcile discrepancies and assist in the resolution of financial reporting issues.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (0-2 years of experience preferred).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP/IFRS) and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
