Responsibilities
- Assist in the monthly and quarterly closing process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger accounts and supporting schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and tax schedules.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) to manage financial data.
- Collaborate with the senior accounting team to identify process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and GAAP.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new financial software quickly.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented setting.
- CPA candidate status is a plus but not required.
