Responsibilities
- Assist with General Ledger Maintenance: Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring data integrity across all ledgers.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor details, and manage accounts receivable collections in a timely manner.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of basic financial statements, trial balances, and other reporting documents.
- Expense Management: Review and approve employee expense reports in compliance with company policies.
- Administrative Support: Organize and file financial documents, invoices, and contracts for easy retrieval.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience: No prior experience required. We provide on-the-job training for the right candidates.
- Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (functions, formulas) is highly desirable.
- Attention to Detail: Must be meticulous when working with numbers and data entry.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members and clients.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
