Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Bookkeeping: Maintain and update accounting ledgers, journals, and records.
- AP/AR: Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable transactions.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Support: Provide administrative support to the senior accounting team and assist with ad-hoc financial projects.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience (internships accepted) in a finance or accounting role.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).
- Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent organizational abilities.
- Communication: Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- Availability: Must be willing to work on-site in Philadelphia, PA.
