About the Role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with all federal and state regulations. We offer a dynamic work environment where your contributions matter.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Assist in the preparation of annual tax returns and local, state, and federal tax filings.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to prevent fraud.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Provide financial reporting support to management and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
- CPA certification or equivalent professional designation is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
