Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping and accounts payable/receivable tasks.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts accurately.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and compliance filings.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) to maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial reporting procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships accepted).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
