Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
- Process invoices and expense reports with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings under supervision.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) to track financial data.
- Support the audit process by gathering and organizing documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships considered).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
