Responsibilities
- Assist with daily data entry and financial record maintenance using accounting software.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements to ensure accuracy.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes by preparing necessary schedules and reports.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices in a timely manner.
- Perform basic financial analysis and assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Answer general accounting inquiries from internal departments with guidance.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital filing systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (preferred but not required).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn new software and processes.
