Responsibilities
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, spreadsheets, and documentation.
- Process and verify invoices and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
- Assist with tax preparation schedules and compliance documentation.
- Communicate effectively with team members and external partners.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 0-2 years of experience in an accounting role (internships are highly encouraged).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
