Responsibilities
- Assist with Month-End Close: Support the accounting team in preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, verify vendor data, and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis to identify discrepancies.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial statements and supporting schedules for management review.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents and records.
- Compliance: Assist in ensuring compliance with federal and state financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience (Internships and recent graduates are encouraged to apply).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Software: Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or SAP is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
