Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and receivable, on a nightly basis.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, trial balances, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all entries are posted and reviewed by the morning team.
- Perform variance analysis and identify discrepancies in financial data to recommend corrective actions.
- Support external and internal audits by providing requested documentation and reconciliations promptly.
- Maintain accurate digital filing systems for all financial records and transactions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting, preferably within a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Must be available to work a Night Shift (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to detect errors in complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
