As an Entry Level Accountant, you will work closely with our senior staff to ensure the accuracy of our financial reporting and the efficiency of our accounting processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card accounts, and general ledger accounts.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
- Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records and ledgers.
- Support the finance department with data entry and basic tax preparation duties.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred (candidates with experience will also be considered).
- Strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in data handling.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP knowledge is a plus).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
