Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards.
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, including performing month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and assist in the collection of accounts receivable.
- Expense Management: Review and approve employee expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and budget constraints.
- Audit Support: Provide documentation and support to internal and external auditors during the annual audit process.
- Administrative Support: File financial documents, maintain organized records, and assist with ad-hoc financial projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing final year of studies).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF statements).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors and ensure data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
- Integrity: High ethical standards and a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
