Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately process and verify invoices for payment, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete.
- Vendor Management: Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and answer inquiries.
- Data Entry: Perform high-speed data entry into the accounting software with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Reconciliation: Assist in reconciling accounts payable statements and resolving any variances.
- Reporting: Generate and maintain reports related to accounts payable activity and aging.
- Support: Provide general administrative support to the finance department as needed.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Experience: No prior experience required. Previous clerical or customer service experience is a strong plus.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to spot errors in data.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
