Responsibilities
- Assist with Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process invoices, verify accuracy, and ensure timely payments to vendors while collecting payments from clients.
- General Ledger Support: Maintain the general ledger by recording daily transactions and performing month-end close procedures.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to ensure all discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare basic financial statements and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax filings.
- Excel & Data Management: Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize financial data, create spreadsheets, and generate analytical reports.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role (internships included).
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Knowledge: Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero) is a plus.
- Attributes: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
