Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Lead internal audits and prepare documentation for external reviews
- Develop and implement automated accounting workflows using ERP systems
- Mentor junior accounting staff and provide guidance on complex accounting issues
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with 2+ in remote/hybrid roles
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, audits, and compliance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with fintech or SaaS industry accounting preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate across time zones
