Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Assist with general ledger maintenance and account reconciliation for multi-entity portfolios
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and manage vendor/client communications
- Support audit preparation by organizing financial documentation and responding to auditor inquiries
- Contribute to financial forecasting models and variance analysis projects
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations for client portfolios
- Utilize QuickBooks and SAP for transaction processing and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and basic accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Basic understanding of tax preparation procedures and audit processes
