Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, variance reports, and budget forecasts for executive review.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate effectively with external auditors to ensure a seamless experience.
- Maintain fixed asset schedules and ensure strict compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely invoicing and vendor payments.
- Conduct internal audits to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements for efficiency.
- Train and mentor junior accounting staff on best practices and software usage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in full-cycle accounting within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and high accuracy.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
