Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for client bank accounts and general ledgers
- Assist with audit fieldwork including documentation testing and substantive procedures
- Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and small businesses
- Process accounts payable/receivable and maintain financial records
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend improvements
- Contribute to client reporting packages and financial statement preparation
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates welcome)
- Basic proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive learning attitude and willingness to obtain CPA certification
