Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and account reconciliations
- Process accounts payable/receivable transactions and maintain accurate records
- Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation for audits
- Conduct data entry and maintain organized digital filing systems
- Support tax preparation processes and compliance documentation
- Analyze financial data for accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Collaborate with team members on financial reporting projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of Texas tax regulations a plus
