Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly and quarterly financial statement preparation and analysis
- Perform account reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger
- Support accounts payable/receivable processes including invoice processing and payment scheduling
- Contribute to month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate financial records using accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite)
- Assist in internal audits and compliance documentation
- Prepare sales tax filings and other regulatory reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting fundamentals
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional numerical accuracy
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
