Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Support accounts payable/receivable functions including invoice processing and payment verification
- Conduct bank reconciliations and assist with internal audit procedures
- Maintain fixed asset ledgers and depreciation schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP) to maintain accurate financial records
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (recent graduates encouraged)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of GAAP principles and accounting standards
- Excellent analytical skills with ability to interpret financial data
- Strong organizational abilities and time management skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proactive learner with willingness to develop technical accounting expertise
