As a member of our finance team, you will gain hands-on experience in core accounting functions, supporting our senior staff in maintaining financial accuracy and compliance. We pride ourselves on fostering talent and are looking for individuals eager to learn and contribute from day one.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Perform bank reconciliations and prepare monthly financial statements.
- Support the month-end and year-end close process by gathering and organizing financial data.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems for financial records.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documents and general ledger account analysis.
- Reconcile credit card statements and resolve discrepancies with vendors.
- Conduct research on accounting standards and assist in internal audits as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing graduation).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) and bookkeeping practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel required.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- Basic knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) is a plus but not required.
