Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements including balance sheets and income statements
- Process accounts payable/receivable and manage month-end closing procedures
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance documentation
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow reports
- Support internal audits and financial analysis projects
- Utilize QuickBooks and ERP systems for data entry and reporting
- Collaborate with senior accountants on financial forecasting models
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)
- 0-2 years of accounting internship or entry-level experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/Pivot Tables)
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Strong attention to detail with problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CPA candidacy or enrolled in CPA program preferred
