Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Assist with month-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support accounts payable/receivable operations and cash flow management
- Conduct variance analysis and maintain financial documentation systems
- Collaborate with senior accountants on audit preparations and tax filings
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) for data entry and reporting
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (0-2 years experience)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Familiarity with GAAP principles and accounting software systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and numerical precision
- Excellent written/verbal communication and teamwork abilities
- Proactive problem-solving approach and adaptability to changing priorities
- Relevant coursework in intermediate accounting or tax preparation preferred
