What You Will Do
In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting. You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients and internal stakeholders, managing complex accounting functions with precision.

Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card balances, and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparation filings, collaborating closely with external auditors and tax professionals.
- Perform variance analysis and budget forecasting to provide actionable insights to management.
- Streamline accounting processes and implement best practices for remote financial operations.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, adhering to strict deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a public accounting firm or a high-growth remote-first company.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and federal tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in a remote setting with excellent time management and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot complex financial discrepancies.
