Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with meticulous attention to detail
- Prepare monthly financial statements including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable cycles and process payroll for assigned clients
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP standards
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes with accuracy and timeliness
- Collaborate with tax professionals to support audit preparation and documentation
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and other accounting software for efficient record-keeping
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of progressive bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Deep understanding of GAAP principles and tax regulations
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
- Exceptional analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Professional certification (e.g., CB, AIPB) highly desirable
