Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, manage vendor relationships, and ensure timely collection of accounts receivable.
- Payroll Support: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements and month-end close procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with GAAP and company policies.
Qualifications
- Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage Intacct.
- Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
